General Product Description
SurfaPore Thermo is a unique water based formulation that when added in any ordinary acrylic paint it induces thermal insulation and water-repellency. By making paint a better thermal insulator that at the same time can keep moisture away from your walls and ceilings, loss of heat is reduced and so are your energy costs.

SurfaPore Thermo consists of special mix of insulating nano-sized and micro-sized aggregate solids. The addition of SurfaPore Thermo in paint, does not effect applicability, viscosity, elasticity, coloration or life expectancy of the paint. Thermal insulating properties are derived from the dual action of heat transfer blocking particles and water repelling nanoparticles.

Action and Performance
Heat can “travel” through building materials in both cold and hot environments. Subsequently, energy costs occur to heat a house during the cold winter or to cool a building during a hot summer.

The effectiveness of paints and additives that simply attempt to block heat transfer is doubtful, as the accumulated humidity assists heat transfer and practically eliminates their action.
